Rosemary: not just for your thanksgiving turkey

Updated: Dec 19, 2024

I have a lot to be thankful for this year and I plan on spending tomorrow reflecting on them; this year has been full of change and transformation.

Of course, I will also enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner rich with a variety of herbs, my favorite being rosemary!

Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus) is low-maintenance, evergreen, and has the most amazing aroma so of course I keep fresh rosemary growing for all my herbal and culinary needs.

Why rosemary? In addition to its wonderful scent and flavor, rosemary is an amazing source for making natural remedies. It improves circulation, memory, headaches and migraines, digestion, and pain and sore muscles!

Rosemary also has many topical applications; it can relieve muscle pain, decrease dandruff, promote hair growth, prevent wrinkles, ease bruising, and even soothe eczema. It can even be used as a mouth rinse to freshen breath and soothe sore throats, gums, and canker sores.

What more could an herbalist ask for?

Get more rosemary into your life: capsules, oils, herbal tea, herbal tinctures, and even infused vinegars!

Don't forget to have a heavy hand when seasoning that turkey tomorrow, the more

herbs, the more to be thankful for.
